Delhi Blast Live Updates: Nine people are dead and 20 injured after a blast in a car near Red Fort on Monday evening, officials said.
The blast took place in a Hyundai i20 car at 6.52 pm near the Red Fort Metro Station, leaving mangled bodies and damaged cars scattered in the busy area. An initial assessment of the blast indicated the suspects may have panicked and made a mistake while carrying the explosives, top intelligence sources told NDTV today. As the probe into the blast deepens, investigators today took three more doctors from Faridabad's Al-Falah University into custody.
